The Bible
We believe the Bible — both Old and New Testaments — is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God; God-breathed and the final authority for faith and practice.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 · 2 Peter 1:21
Our statement of faith and core convictions
Statement of Faith
The foundation of our faith and the doctrines that guide our ministry.
We believe the Bible — both Old and New Testaments — is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God; God-breathed and the final authority for faith and practice.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 · 2 Peter 1:21
We believe in one God, eternal and sovereign Creator, revealed in three Persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — one in being, essence, and glory. He is holy, just, loving, gracious, and unchanging.
Deuteronomy 6:4 · 2 Corinthians 13:14 · John 10:30
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary. He lived sinlessly, died on the cross as our substitute, rose bodily from the dead, and is now seated at the right hand of the Father.
John 1:1, 14 · 1 John 2:2 · Romans 5:9
We believe in the deity and personality of the Holy Spirit. He regenerates and indwells believers, baptizes them into the body of Christ, seals them unto redemption, teaches them God's Word, and sovereignly distributes spiritual gifts.
Acts 5:3-4 · Romans 8:9 · Ephesians 1:13-14
We believe humanity was created directly by God in His image, but through Adam's fall has inherited a sinful nature. All have sinned and fall short of God's glory, unable to remedy this condition apart from Christ.
Genesis 1:26-27 · Romans 3:23 · Ephesians 2:1-5
We believe salvation is the gift of God's grace, received by faith alone in Christ alone. Christ died in our place and rose again. Believers are eternally secure, sealed by the Spirit. Good works are the fruit, not the root, of salvation.
Ephesians 2:8-9 · John 10:27-30 · Galatians 5:22-23
We believe the Church is the spiritual body of Christ, made up of all believers. We observe water baptism by immersion and the Lord's Supper. We embrace the Great Commission to preach the gospel and make disciples in all the world.
1 Corinthians 12:12-14 · Matthew 28:19-20 · Acts 1:8
We believe in the reality of angels as God's servants and messengers. We also affirm the existence of Satan and demons — fallen angels who oppose God and His people, and who will face eternal punishment in the lake of fire.
Hebrews 1:14 · Isaiah 14:12-17 · Revelation 20:10
We believe in the blessed hope — the personal, imminent return of Jesus Christ to rapture His saints, His visible return to establish His millennial kingdom, the bodily resurrection of all people, and eternal joy for the saints and eternal punishment for the lost.
Titus 2:13 · 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 · Revelation 20:11-15
